Key Responsibilities:

Structural Analysis & Modeling:

Perform and be responsible for structural analysis tasks using company standard software, primarily SACS, with additional work in STAAD and GT-STRUDL.

Design Calculations & Compliance:

Carry out detailed structural design calculations following specifications and adhering to the latest industry codes, standards, and statutory regulations (including DNV GL, API, AISC, EC, and Norsok).

Drawings Review & Approvals:

Review, provide comments on, and approve structural drawings for steel structures based on engineering design. Ensure all designs meet the necessary quality standards and provide engineering reports as needed.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare comprehensive Design Reports and ensure accurate maintenance of all records in line with Department Operating Procedures.

Health, Safety, & Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all tasks and activities comply with policies on health, safety, quality, and environmental standards, and align with company-specific procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

Must be degree qualified in structural or civil engineering.

Professional Status:

Chartered status is preferred (or you should be working towards it).

Experience:

Proven experience in the offshore energy sector, with a strong track record in delivering high-quality structural engineering solutions.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SACS, STAAD, and GT-STRUDL is essential.

Industry Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of relevant industry codes and regulations, including DNV GL, API, AISC, EC, and Norsok.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
