Jnr Qulality Engineer

If you have some exposure to ISO9001 and understand the basic requirements, have an interest in developing your auditing skills and can check and verify basic supplied components via inspection to engineering drawings, then we want to hear from you.

The Jnr Quality Engineer role:

• Quality check incoming products from Suppliers.
• Customer concern reporting, investigation and closure with support of site quality manager.
• Produce inspection reports using a variety of basic hand measurement tools.
• Completion and modification of various quality documents including those based on Excel, BSI Portal and other web based applications.
• Auditing internal processes and procedures to ensure compliance and identify areas of potential improvement.
• Project management software maintenance

The Successful Junior Quality Engineer Candidate:

• Exposure to maintaining a quality assurance system such as ISO9001 / IATF16949 or similar, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawing and understand the critical characteristics when assessing the product suitability.
• Confident in the use of basic measurement hand tools to facilitate the inspection of manufactured and procured products and assemblies.
• An Engineering / Technical qualification
• Strong IT abilities and efficient with the use of Microsoft office suite.
• You will be a positive character with an ability to organise, you will operate efficiently and work well within a friendly team environment.
