My client are premium manufacturer of quality power tools and welding equipment designed specifically in the engineering sector. They sell via dealers and directly to end users.
Customers include; general engineering and metalworking, fabrication & welding, and assembly environments.
They are now looking for a technically minded Area Sales Manager who is centrally based in the UK to support and further develop their customers.
The role
- Working from home. This is a technical solutions sales role rather than box shifting or selling on price.
- Following up enquires and leads with end users - understanding applications and recommending appropriate solutions
- Covering central patch: Birmingham, Oxford, Cheltenham, S.Wales
- Maintaining relationships with existing dealers/distributors and end users
- Sales analysis
- Work closely with Marketing to ensure the right products are promoted effectively
- Identify new distributors and end users
- Sell a range of high-quality engineering and metalwork hand power tools including welding equipment
Requirements
- Likely to be a mechanical engineer
- Previous field sales experience is essential, sales engineer, key account manager, dealer manager
- You will have solid knowledge of industrial power tools, welding equipment, abrasives, cutting tools is preferred
