Approved Electrician

Recruiting Electrical Engineers for immediate start:

Applications are invited from Approved Electricians/Electrical Technicians.

Applicants should ideally be able to demonstrate experience and understanding of

working in Marine, Industrial/Commercial & Hazardous Area Environments.

Have a strong understanding and ability to carry out electrical repairs, installation and testing work with minimal supervision to a high standard.

Ideal position requirements :

Time-served City & Guilds 236 Pt 1 & 2 or NVQ 3 Equivalent.

City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection Certificate.

BS7671 IET 18th Edition plus Amendment 2/3.

CompEx 1-4.

ECS Gold Card.

Clean, current UK driving licence.

(Engineers are usually provided with a company vehicle).

Experience of electrical maintenance & fault diagnosis would be an advantage.

Training to meet the above requirements, may be offered to the right candidate.

All positions are full time & subject to a probationary period.

Basic salary range depending on qualifications/experience – approx. £35,880 to £40,560 plus overtime & additional on-call allowance.
