Role Purpose:

The Data & AI Programme Manager is responsible for managing Data & AI initiatives associated with the Firm's Data & AI capabilities. The technical programme manager will work closely with different teams to ensure that data and AI initiatives are aligned with the Firm's strategic objectives and are effectively integrated into the business processes.


This role will also develop a portfolio oversight over all Data & AI initiatives reporting to the Head of Data & AI Programmes.


Key areas of responsibility:

  • Define an overarching approach to Data and AI business change
  • Develop portfolio approach integrate, assure and oversight all Data & AI programmes
  • Programme Manage key Data & AI Projects within DLA Piper
  • Develop tracking and monitoring of Data & AI Projects
  • Manage technical deliveries of AI Projects
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver Data & AI Products
  • Manage inter-dependencies with IT Team on Data & IT project


Skills, experience and characteristics:

  • Programme Management in the Data & AI discipline
  • Portfolio Oversight and Assurance of Data & AI projects
  • Reporting and Tracking of Data & AI Programmes
  • Design if Data & AI Programmes of work utilising Agile methodology
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies
  • Strong data fundamentals and experience with change related to data products
  • Ability to lead, influence, and motivate teams and individuals through change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the change process
  • Proficiency in project management tools
