Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be a crucial asset to the school community, stepping in to manage classroom environments and guide students through pre-planned lessons. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, maintaining an orderly and supportive learning atmosphere
• Facilitate students' understanding and engagement with pre-set lesson plans, providing clarification and direction where needed
• Uphold and enforce school policies to ensure a safe and respectful classroom environment
• Assist students with individual queries and encourage active participation
• Liaise with school staff to support students' ongoing progress and learning objectives
• Report any issues or behavioural concerns to relevant staff, contributing to a well-managed learning environment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a similar Cover Supervisor role, ideally within a Secondary School setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff alike
• Strong organisational abilities and classroom management skills to maintain student focus and engagement
• Adaptability and initiative, with the capability to handle varied tasks and classroom scenarios
