You will be joining a design and build contractor overseeing the successful delivery of civil works within the water sector. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. They boast an impressive list of high-profile clients they work in partnership with and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Site Manager to be based on sites in the Shropshire area. This is a full-time site-based position.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Overseeing day-to-day site operationsEnsuring adherence with health, safety and environmental policiesReporting progress to key project stakeholdersManaging construction activitiesCoordinating and supervising subcontractorsMaintaining budgets and schedules.What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you will:
Have previous experience in heavy civils, ideally in the water sector, in a site management or supervising capacityHold a CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualificationUnderstand health, safety and environmental policiesBe able to manage construction activities and coordinate subcontractorsPossess strong interpersonal and leadership skills.What you'll get in return In return, you will receive:
