Management Accountant

BDS are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant in Exeter.

The role is for a Housing Association based in the South West who own and manage over 40,000 homes in the area and we are looking for someone to play a lead role in the day to day running of the Development Finance team.

This role is on a full time fixed term basis for a period of 9 months working 37 hours per week Monday - Friday with hybrid working as an option.

The salary is up to 49,000 DOE

Main Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Managing monthly KPI's
• Performance reporting to the relevant departments
• Preparing statutory accounts
• Liaising with auditors when necessary
• Play a key role in the production of the annual business plan process

The Candidate:

• The ability to use complex accounting system
• Experience of preparing statutory accounts
• Experience of working in the public sector
• Relevant Finance/Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
