Software Developer – Lancaster (2 days WFH) – C# / .NET / Java / Kotlin / Android / Mobile / UI/UX / Azure / DevOps / TFS / Git / CI/CD / SQL

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer for a growing Medical Software business.

You’ll have the opportunity to work in a small close-knit, collaborative Development Team.

Working on their "developing projects" which is their newest, complex projects, where problem solving and looking at new and emerging tech is important.

The role is a mixture of C#/.NET with work on various Android products/projects, using Java and Kotlin. To be considered for this role you'll need commercial experience in C# / .NET and/or Android / Java / Kotlin.

Tech Stack:

C# / .NET
Mobile / Android development (Java / Kotlin) and Progressive Web App (PWA) experience
UI Development MVC & Web Forms
API Design & Development
OOP
SQL
Git / TFS

Desirable skills include Azure, CI/CD - Azure DevOps, app deployment experience, Entity Framework Core.

Role Overview:

Design & architecture of applications and design/development of user-facing applications
Building reusable code libraries
Testing, validation and optimisation
Cross application functionality
Documenting
Problem solving and investigation
Peer code reviews
Requirements gathering (ad-hoc)
Learning and upskilling into new technology
Android and Zebra configurations

You’ll be joining an established Employee owned business (EBT), based in a great location in Kendal / Cumbria. They boast an almost unheard-of staff retention record due to the variety and progression within the role. Salary is £35K-£60K, plus bonus (usually over 30%), annual pay review + annual cost of living increase to salary. Medical & pension. You’ll be able to work from home 2 days a week and get full home office kit provided.
