In this newly created position, we are looking for experienced Procurement Manager's within the Automotive sector, who have experience of working with internal R&D teams and Engineers to develop the procurement strategies to support new product development and new innovative technologies.

You will be the procurement expert and go to individual for key stakeholder groups, development and project teams, providing the procurement vision in alignment with project roadmaps. You will foster new relationships with key suppliers and support the creation of technology partners with the wider procurement teams.

The Procurement Manager will understand the emerging technology marketplace, understand suppliers’ capabilities and evaluate new suppliers according to new technological innovations.

This is a great opportunity for someone to make the role their own, supported by the Procurement Director and building close forging relationships internal stakeholder groups.

For this opportunity, you must have an Automotive background, ideally OEM and ideally within a Program/Project procurement role.

Our client is based in the West Midlands and operate a hybrid working model of 3 days a week in the office.
