The Role: Market Director, Rail and Transit (UK)

• As the Market Director, you’ll be a senior leader responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the Rail and Transit markets in the UK.
• Representing AtkinsRéalis at both national and global levels, you’ll build and maintain ‘C’ Suite client relationships and senior networks in the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set business strategy and near-term plans to grow revenue and margin from its current foundation of £200m+ revenue p.a.
• Drive great client outcomes and cross-selling within the Market.
• Lead the Rail and Transit market while being part of the UK & Ireland Transportation leadership team.
• Collaborate with the Ireland business to grow our successful portfolio.
• Ensure Profit and Loss accountability and deliver annual targets.

• Recognised profile in the UK infrastructure market with deep understanding of Rail and Mass Transit sectors.
• High performance and pride in delivering great work.
• Commercial savvy, delivery focus, and excellent relationship-building skills.

• Proven track record in driving health and safety culture and performance.
• High mobility and willingness to travel across the UK.
• Degree level or equivalent professional qualifications.
