Energy and Renewables Surveyor

Our client, a leading real estate consultancy, is expanding its Energy & Renewables team, which has doubled in size over the past year. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing department at the forefront of renewable energy development, driving innovation and delivering exceptional value for landowners and developers alike.

In this role, you will represent landowners, promoting their land for renewable energy projects and ensuring their interests are protected throughout the project lifecycle. You will evaluate offers, negotiate terms with developers, and provide strategic recommendations to clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Landowner Representation: Acting as a trusted advisor to landowners, promoting land for renewable energy developments and representing their interests.
• Negotiation: Facilitating negotiations, advising on heads of terms, and delivering strategic advice.
• Collaboration: Working closely with solicitors, accountants, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive advice.
• Site Visits: Conducting nationwide site visits to assess properties, engage with developers, and build client relationships.
• Communication: Ensuring proactive communication with clients, offering regular updates, and managing the negotiation process.

While MRICS accreditation is not essential, a strong background in the Energy and Renewables sector or an MRICS Surveyor with a keen interest in transitioning is highly desirable.
