Group Internal Auditor

We are supporting a global Nottinghamshire business to recruit a Group Internal Auditor. This is a newly created position to support their impressive growth in recent years. The role will report to the Director of Internal Audit and Risk and you will be based at their global Head Office in North Nottinghamshire.

The role of Group Internal Auditor will provide independent and objective assurance to the business that internal controls are working effectively and supporting the business to improve the internal controls and risk management frameworks.

The position would suit a seasoned Internal Auditor looking for a fresh challenge, someone looking to make their first move into Industry from Practice or even someone with a solid finance background with a particular interest in Internal Audit.

Brief overview of responsibilities:

• Undertake independent audit /assurance reviews in line with the Internal Audit Plan
• Support the development of effective and efficient internal controls and procedures across the Group
• Work in line with the Global Internal Audit professional standards
• Support the business in continuous improvement by supporting projects, processes and the development of new systems to ensure effective controls are in place

We are ideally seeking someone fully qualified CIA/ACA/ACCA either already in an Internal Audit role or with some Audit experience from Practice.

You will be joining a global business that will continue to grow with increased market share and a number of exciting acquisitions planned.
