Location: Barlborough Office, UK
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Car Allowance: £400 per month

A prestigious luxury house builder is seeking a skilled and motivated Adoptions Engineer to join their team. This role offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work with a leading name in the industry.

This Adoptions Engineer (New Homes) role, based in Barlborough, UK, offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum and a £400 monthly car allowance, with additional benefits such as 25 days holiday + bank holidays, life assurance, pension, and a 5% annual bonus. The position focuses on managing the completion of infrastructure projectssuch as highways, sewers, and public open spacesto meet the standards required for public adoption by authorities.

• Reviewing legal agreements and participating in project meetings.
• Overseeing contractors and inspecting sites to ensure adherence to Local Authority standards.
• Managing adoption agreements (Sections 38, 104, & 278) and liaising with inspectors, authorities, and legal teams.
• Monitoring budgets and ensuring timely completion of drainage and Suds agreements.
• Supporting Engineering and Contract Managers with project insights and recommendations.
• Conducting safety audits and progress inspections while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

• OND/HND or similar qualification in Building Studies, Construction, or Engineering.
• Candidates with a background in groundworks or site management are encouraged to apply, as their skills in overseeing on-site infrastructure and construction will be highly valuable.
• Proficiency in IT, including AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of road and sewer construction, utility procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, with a high degree of self-motivation.
