PE Global is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineering Coordinator for our multinational industrial manufacturing client based in Desford. The role is on-site and an initial 6-month contract.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Manage and supervise the TORQUE team.
- Conduct audits and develop solutions to current manufacturing issues.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet production goals.
- Utilise Microsoft Office, especially MS Project, for project management.
- Ensure adherence to Six Sigma quality standards.
- Plan and manage labour resources efficiently.
- Oversee insourcing vs. outsourcing decisions and processes.
Requirements of the role:
- Relevant degrees or certifications in engineering, project management, or related fields.
- Background in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Project management experience.
- Experience in labour planning.
- Resource planning – people resources.
- Insourcing vs. outsourcing knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma quality standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
