Structured Products Lawyer or Negotiator

A financial services client is looking to hire an interim lawyer or interim negotiation with a background in structured products on a 6-month basis.

In this role you will work closely with the clients product structuring and trading desks across its international offices. You will assist in advising on all stages of the structured product lifecycle, structuring of transactions, managing the trade execution process, advising on regulatory matters and drafting, reviewing and negotiating documentation of all types.

The team that you will be joining is responsible for the development and distribution of a wide range of structured products, and the issuance of structured notes.

Role overview:

• Draft, review and analyse the legal documentation for Structured Products
• Managing and documenting product lifecycles such as unwinds, amendments and or restructurings.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on distribution agreements between the client and third parties.
• Assist with document templating and automation processes.

Experience

• Qualified as a Solicitor or a degree in law.
• Experience gained in a relevant corporate legal department working on structured products.
• Experience in drafting, negotiating and advising on distribution agreements between a client and third parties.
