Commissioning Engineer

TEXO Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Commissioning Technicians to join a well-established Subsea company based in Newcastle upon Tyne, on a Permanent Basis!

The successful candidates will provide technical support to projects throughout the company and liaising between Customers, Engineering and Project Managers to provide clients with quality product, commissioned to the requirements of the project and specification.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring vehicles and associated equipment have been correctly manufactured
• Diagnosing and fixing faults
• Functional testing of equipment
• Ensuring test paperwork is correctly completed
• Demonstrating systems to customers
• Answering technical queries
• Continuous improvement
• Responsibility for the planning of all commissioning activities within manufacturing facilities.
• Act as point of contact with Client reps during Testing phases.
• Support Production team/build as directed by Supervisor.
• Health & safety
• Pre delivery quality checks
• Continuous improvement
• QA checks
• This may include off site activities to meet client requirements

Essential Skills:

• Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience working on subsea vehicles.
• HNC in electrical discipline.
• Fault finding experience.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Project.
