The Role

Ready to transition your hands-on security experience into an exciting consultancy career? We're seeking a Junior Consultant to join our Security Design and Engineering team. This role is perfect for those with practical experience in security systems who are eager to apply their knowledge in a design and advisory capacity.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate on larger, complex security design projects with our senior team
• Lead security design projects for smaller projects
• Design and specify cutting-edge access control and video surveillance systems 
• Develop CAD drawings and technical documentation
• Conduct on-site witness testing and system verification
• Work closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Essential Attributes

• Experience: 2-5 years in security systems design, installation or commissioning
• Technical Know-How: Solid understanding of enterprise-level security systems (on-premises or cloud-based)
• Soft Skills: Strong communication abilities and a knack for building client relationships
• Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies and design principles
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to drawings, technical specifications and standards

Other Valuable Attributes

• Project management experience or training
• Knowledge outside of electronic security, e.g. physical security or risk assessment
• Training or experience in IT management, networks or cyber security
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit software or willingness to learn
• Familiarity with Secured by Design (SBD) or other built environment security guidance
