Strategy Education are delighted to be working with an alternative provision in Essex who are recruiting for a Maths Teacher.

The alternative provision caters for children aged 11 -16 and so the Maths Teacher will be teaching KS3 and KS4 classes.

There are two sites in South Essex and the Maths Teacher will be based at one of these sites.

The Maths Teacher vacancy is full time and starts immediately.

The children are taught in small groups, a maximum of 6 children per class.

The Maths Teacher will be supported with Learning Support Assistants in the classroom.

Marking will be expected as part of this post and there may be the need for some planning of lessons.

The successful Maths Teacher will be subject to a variety of checks including eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS disclosure and full references including one from your most recent employer.
