Head of Legal

We are growing our team, and looking for an Head of Legal to join our rapidly expanding team. As the Head of Legal you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the company's legal interests and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice and support to the management team on a wide range of legal matters, including commercial contracts, intellectual property, employment law and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and agreements, including supplier contracts, distribution agreements, and licensing agreements.
• Advise on and manage litigation and dispute resolution matters
• Manage and oversee the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights and patents.
• Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company's operations and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to maintain compliance.
• Work closely with external lawyers and other advisors as necessary.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks

Requirements:

• In House Counsel from 8 Years PQE with experience across commercial, employment, corporate and intellectual property.
• Experience dealing directly with senior stakeholders within a business.
• Previous online retail experience is a must
