Mission Planning Systems Engineer

We are seeking a talented Mission Planning Systems Engineer to support the development and evolution of cutting-edge mission planning systems. You'll work on designing and integrating tools that provide mission-critical solutions to support advanced military operations.

This role involves close collaboration with teams across various engineering disciplines, enhancing mission effectiveness through innovative technology solutions.

• Conducting systems design activities for mission planning products
• Providing key inputs to requirements capture, design freezes, system integration, and testing through to full product verification and certification
• Collaborating closely with UK and French Systems and Software teams, as well as other parties, to enable robust design and system validation

• Understanding of System Engineering Process with recent experience in a systems engineering role across the full lifecycle
• Experience in tools for Requirements Capture and Control (e.g. DOORS) and Configuration Management
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a collaborative environment spanning multiple teams and locations
• Experience of technical problem-solving with strong analytical thinking abilities
• General understanding of mission planning principles is beneficial
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
