A secondary school in Greenwich are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their thriving Geography department as a Geography Teacher.

Experienced QTS teachers will be needed.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Geography lessons that engage and challenge students of varying abilities and age groups.
• Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources, including interactive technologies, fieldwork opportunities, and group activities, to enhance student learning experiences.
• Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills through the study of geographical processes and phenomena.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), specializing in Geography.
• Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography, including a solid understanding of contemporary geographical issues and global perspectives.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation, curiosity, and independent thinking.
