Exceptional opportunity for smart, business savvy, creative and strategic thinker to take on a challenging maternity-cover contract with this entrepreneurial and premium beverage brand with a presence in leading hotels and restaurants and available on-line to the discerning consumer!


Ideally you will have B2C and B2B brand marketing experience, with extensive experience working with eCommerce and digital/social media. The brand has huge potential to grow via its D2C platform.


This is a super role for a brand passionate marketer who appreciates quality, and can hit the ground running in this challenging maternity-cover role. A brand champion who will lead, manage and enthuse a team of 4 reports and agency partners to pick up the marketing baton and deliver results, reporting directly to the CEO.

As part of its combined B2C and B2B growth strategy, focused on engaging curious, discerning consumers and luxury hospitality, this role is pivotal to the brands’ success. We’re looking for someone who will drive customer and consumer acquisition - leading the planning and delivery of bold and innovative marketing plans which bring the brand to life across all touchpoints and activities.This will include ensuring excellence in training capabilities across the sales and brand ambassador team, as well as leading the DTC eCommerce strategy and introduction of new lines.


What you’ll be doing …


Brand Strategy and Marketing Planning

  • Leading the marketing plan, aligned to a 5-year strategic vision, to deliver a multi-channel strategy to drive brand engagement, consumption, consumer acquisition and awareness
  • Translating and bringing brand guidelines to life in all workstreams
  • Analysing KPIs and using research & insight, including competitor analysis, campaign results and consumer trends, to shape strategy, tactics and messaging


Consumer Activity

  • Leading the marketing team to create excellent, disruptive content aligned to brand positioning (written, video, visual) to drive consumer acquisition and embed the brand positioning across all touchpoints (ECRM, digital, social, packaging etc)
  • Working with the eCommerce team to drive ongoing consumer understanding – A/B tests, analysis of messaging etc to refine and improve the DTC strategy


Customer & Trade Activity

  • Ensuring optimal visibility and presentation of the brand and its touchpoints, bringing its unique purpose and image to life at the point of choice and consumption
  • Ensuring brand assets are best in class, making the brand and brand benefits visible and engaging to stakeholders (including trade sell-in materials, bespoke key account presentations and trade materials such as menus)
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager to prioritise and support priority brand activity in key trade channels
  • Supporting the sales team for key pitches


Ongoing Business Management

  • Managing external comms and PR agencies to deliver the plan
  • Managing the marketing budget
  • Leading and inspiring the internal marketing team to activate the plan effectively
  • Manage and support Training and Brand Ambassadors to deliver industry-leading training (in person, materials, online)
  • Ensuring a high level of brand understanding internally to ensure Sales and Customer Service teams can sell/upsell the brand and products
  • Ensuring all innovation delivers a perfect brand product experience


What we’re looking for …


To meet the challenge of this role, you’ll be an experienced brand marketing professional with an exceptional track record of developing and executing multi-channel marketing plans that engage consumers and premium HORECA customers & stakeholders, with a clear brand personality and reasons-to-believe across all touch points. Key skills & experience include:


  • Proven brand marketing skills, ideally with experience in both consumer and trade marketing, and quite likely within a premium food and drink category
  • Expertise in developing and executing multi-channel, full-mix marketing plans, social media strategy, and brand content creation
  • Strong commercial acumen, leadership skills, and a passion for pushing boundaries to deliver exceptional results
  • Leadership experience including managing and coaching direct reports, and working cross-functionally to drive projects
  • UK market experience is key, but some global/international market experience would be a bonus
