The Role:
The Investment Marketing team is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to deliver and implement the global strategic product marketing plan for our Equity & Multi Asset propositions. This role will work closely with Investment/Product and Sales teams to develop product messaging and positioning to aid the sales & marketing effort across wholesale & institutional channels. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter and team player with a proven product marketing background in asset management.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Delivery of Product Marketing plan for Equity & Multi Asset and Sustainable propositions that articulates the key priorities and activity in product, reflects the commercial opportunities from sales in consideration of the market/macro landscape and investment themes in play.
- Support the Head of Product Marketing in delivering the overall product marketing strategy and work with the Global Managing Editor to ensure the thought leadership/content pipeline is reflective of commercial priorities in Equity & Multi Asset propositions.
- Lead the Equity & Multi Asset marketing forum with sales and channel owners to communicate product marketing and content activity, understand channel specific feedback and to have an overview of the marketing activity across each product franchise.
- Support channel owners across institutional & wholesale marketing, PR, events, and sales to deliver the marketing strategy and product marketing campaigns. Lead and support delivery for all marketing communications for the products including:
- Product Marketing Collateral incl Sales Tool Kits
- Standard Presentations to position asset class
- Standard Product / Fund Presentation
- Range/Product Fund Profile
- Product Sales Aid and Standard Questionnaires
- Author/coordinate insights and thought leadership in conjunction with Investment Specialists
- Author web pages for asset class/range/product
- Support production of multimedia content (video/podcast)
Support & develop Product Marketing Managers to deliver individual product marketing plans across other asset classes that can be delivered to channel owners for campaign and channel activity.Manage key stakeholder relationships with investment desk, CIO teams and channel heads.Maintain knowledge of competitor trends & market themes.Represent marketing in the launch of new products within their asset class/business area to ensure take-to-market materials are appropriately positioned.Create strong business relationships across investment teams and channel owners.Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with regulatory requirements.Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:- The ideal candidate would be a self-starter and team player with a proven product marketing background in asset management.
- Excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- Writing skills are essential as is the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of Investment and specifically Equities is essential and comfortable working closely with SMEs.
