I'm working with an SME Cost & Procurement consultancy in London who are looking for a well experienced Commercial Manager to work on infrastructure based projects.
This opportunity will be working on one of the major accounts with opportunities across Rail, Energy, Water and Defense.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing, manage and continuously reviewing commercial management processes.
- Assessing change and potential changes (Compensation Events, Early Warnings and alike).
- Seeking governance for key changes, where applicable.
- The assessment of the NEC4 PSC and ECC’s Applications for Payments, and manage the contractual process (disallowed costs, pay less notices etc.).
- Provide advice to the Service Manager/Project Manager and Head of Procurement regarding commercial management matters.
- Assessing the Technical Partner’s performance (for example KPIs, SLAs and CVR performance – where appropriate).
- Maintain records for the above.
Requirements:
- Consultancy background
- RICS, CIOB accreditation would be desirable but not essential
- Proactive and keen to make a difference.
- Strong NEC3/4 experience
