Software Engineer

Software Developer | Birmingham / Hybrid | Up to 12% Bonus + Car/Allowance

We are looking for a mid-level software developer to join our client's successful construction company. You can be based from either the Warrington or Birmingham office, with twice monthly visits onsite.

This is a full-stack role but we are interested in hearing from people who have strong experience with Java, particularly Jakarta EE, Java EE, Java SE or Spring / Spring Boot.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust applications
• Understand business requirements and translate to technical specifications
• Implement new features and functionality
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Contribute to Agile working
• Ensure future reliability and scalability

Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 3-4 years fullstack experience
• Jakarta EE / Java EE / Java SE
• Strong Java skills (ideally inc Spring / Spring Boot)
• HTML / CSS
• TypeScript / Angular
• Database development
