Our client is a highly regarded litigation law firm based in the heart of London, renowned for delivering exceptional legal services across complex, high-profile disputes worldwide. Their International Arbitration team is growing, and they are seeking an experienced and driven International Arbitration Paralegal to join them on a fixed term, 6 month contract.


As an International Arbitration Paralegal, you will play a pivotal role in supporting their team of lawyers in large-scale commercial and investor-state disputes. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role, ideal for someone with a passion for international arbitration and a commitment to delivering excellence in all areas of legal support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of case files, including drafting correspondence, legal research, and document management.
  • Coordinating and assisting with the drafting of submissions, witness statements, and expert reports.
  • Managing arbitration filings, procedural documents, and tribunal correspondence.
  • Conducting in-depth research on complex legal and procedural issues in international arbitration law.
  • Reviewing and summarising case documents, contracts, and evidence.
  • Supporting lawyers in hearings, including attending hearings and assisting with logistics and bundling.
  • Liaising with clients, external counsel, arbitrators, and other stakeholders on an international level.
  • Managing case timelines and ensuring compliance with arbitration rules and procedures.


Key Requirements:


  • Strong prior experience (1-2 years) as a paralegal in international arbitration or a similar field within a leading law firm or legal department.
  • Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage complex caseloads and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
