Trade Counter / Forklift Driver - Builders Merchants

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Trade Counter / Forklift Driver candidate to join a busy builders merchant in Southall. This is a full-time permanent role and a greet opportunity to join a brilliant employer that truly values their staff.

Salary: £30k per annum

The working hours: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 4:00pm and 1 Saturday on 1 off 6:30am to 11:30am

This role involves:

• helping customers over the Trade Counter
• processing orders
• providing quotes
• taking inbound calls and emails
• picking orders
• loading and unloading
• keeping store stocked and tidy
• operating counterbalance forklift

To be considered for this role, you must have / be:

• previous trade counter experience within a builders merchants
• previously used counterbalance forklift
• physically fit
• previous yard operative experience
• fluent English speaking, reading and writing
• the ability to work as part of a small team and on own initiative
• computer literate
• comfortable speaking to customers face to face and over the phone
• reliable and a hard worker
• local to Southall or able to commute
