Job Title: Leadership & Management Tutor


Division: Business & Management Team

Hours: Full-time


Holidays: 28 days per year (including bank holidays)


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Leadership & Management Tutor to join a growing Business & Management team. In this role, you will play a key part in the development, delivery, and evaluation of Leadership and Management Apprenticeship and commercial training programs. Your primary focus will be to guide learners through their learning journey, ensuring they meet key learning outcomes and progress successfully through to End Point Assessment (EPA).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Learner Caseload: Oversee the learning journey for a group of apprentices, tailoring programs to meet the needs of both the learner and employer.
  • Learning Plan Development: Create customized learning plans based on initial assessments, ensuring programs align with industry and stakeholder standards.
  • Deliver Engaging Training: Plan and deliver engaging off-the-job learning and assessments using a variety of methods including online learning and video conferencing.
  • Monitor On-the-Job Learning: Work closely with employers to ensure that apprentices gain the necessary experience and skills in the workplace.
  • Prepare for End Point Assessments (EPA): Coach learners and employers through Gateway and EPA preparation, including mock activities and interview techniques.
  • Support Functional Skills Development: Provide targeted support to help learners achieve their English and Maths Functional Skills, integrating these subjects throughout the training program.
  • Ongoing Review & Feedback: Conduct regular progress reviews, ensuring all aspects of the learner’s program are on track with clear SMART targets.
  • Record-Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of learner progress and produce monthly reports to ensure timely and successful completion of training programs.
  • Employer Engagement: Build strong relationships with employers, acting as their key point of contact to ensure satisfaction and support.
  • Quality & Compliance: Uphold internal and external quality standards (e.g. Ofsted) and ensure all programs meet regulatory requirements.
