Are you a skilled EC&I Engineer ready to take on a role where you can work independently, be challenged, and contribute to a forward-thinking team?

Why This Role?

You'll join a company in the North of England, managing a fleet of Caterpillar Perkins engines, MWM's and MTU's across ten landfill gas sites and seven gas peaker sites. This is more than just maintaining systems; you'll be part of an organisation pushing forward with renewable technologies and innovative energy solutions.

• Work autonomously: Plan your own day and take ownership of multiple sites, all while being supported by a remote team.
• Technical challenges: You'll handle both Comap control systems and Mitsubishi PLCs on landfill gas sites. Internal support will be available if you're still building your knowledge on these systems.
• Grow your expertise: While knowledge of High Voltage (HV) switching is a plus, HV training will be provided if needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience with landfill gas or gas peaking plants, especially working with Caterpillar Perkins engines.
• Solid electrical and controls/instrumentation experience.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic, remote team.
• A willingness to learn and take on responsibility, making use of the businesses CMMS system.
