Our business model, which we redesigned from the ground up eight years ago, makes us pioneers in Continental Europe. Our ways of thinking and working are predominantly characterised by the key principles of innovation, service and future prospects. Key to its success is the positioning in its markets and its multi-cultural, multilingual team when dealing with any market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare accurate periodic accounts for our Outward and Retro Reinsurance operations.

  • Ensure smooth approval processes for payments, reserve movements, and claim openings, with detailed analysis and comprehensive documentation. Collaborate closely with the finance department to facilitate timely settlements.
  • Conduct thorough Sanction Checks to uphold compliance standards.
  • Seamlessly integrate new portfolios and maintain effective ongoing portfolio control through careful onboarding and operational project management.
  • Craft compelling Reinsurance presentations and insightful analyses to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Foster open lines of communication with our finance and actuarial teams, ensuring alignment and synergy across departments.
  • Diligently monitor portfolio performance and track progress through regular assessments.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of Reinsurance bookings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize our intuitive Portfolio Dashboard for in-depth tracking and analysis of portfolio development.
  • Perform comprehensive annual Outsourcing checks to mitigate GDPR, IT security, Sanctions, and Fraud risks effectively.
  • Manage storage needs for all departments, including the secure destruction of files in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Analyze and monitor the aging of open receivables to optimize financial health.
  • Collaborate closely with our IT system provider to streamline processes, automate manual tasks, and implement enhancements in our Reinsurance system for both existing and new portfolios.

Requirements:

  • Extensive (three years+) experience in reinsurance processing and management.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and conscientiously.
  • Proficient in information management.
  • Conducting annual Claims inventory, with the Portfolio controller overseeing the process onsite and liaising with the respective TPA for all Claims, focusing on major claims when necessary.
  • Preparation of comprehensive Portfolio Reports, providing detailed insights into portfolio development, strategy, and major open claims.
  • Participation in operational project work to support business objectives.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing business. If you are interested, please send us your complete application in English language by e-mail, stating your earliest possible starting date and salary expectation
