Job Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and manage our digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering complex projects that are critical to our growth and operational efficiency. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in the service industry, a solid understanding of digital transformation, and a proven track record in agile project management.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Work closely with the CEO, executive team, and key stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, engineering, and external vendors, to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Implement and champion agile project management practices across all initiatives, driving continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring that all projects are delivered within scope, time, and cost constraints.
  • Provide regular updates to the CEO and other stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues. Ensure transparent communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes by the operational and engineering teams.


Experience Required:


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in program/project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role managing large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Strong background in the service industry, preferably with experience in sectors involving field operations, maintenance, or engineering.
  • Proven experience in delivering digital solutions that drive operational efficiencies, enhance customer service, and support business growth.
  • Proficient in agile methodologies, with a track record of successfully implementing agile practices in complex projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas

  • A degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field. Project Management certifications
  • (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK, particularly for project meetings in Yorkshire and Northampton.
