Our client, a growing M&E contractor with a turnover of 50M, is seeking a Project Engineer specializing in electrical installations to join their reputable team. This role is a prime opportunity for an individual with a background in electrical engineering within the commercial sector. The company is known for delivering high-quality service and maintaining an excellent reputation in their market sector, managing projects from initial design through to completion.

As a Project Engineer, you will report to a Project Manager or Senior PM/Contracts Manager and will attend both on-site and office meetings. Your responsibilities will include managing and overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and handling sub-contractor coordination and management. Key duties involve producing and reviewing technical submittals, RAMS, and progress reports, ensuring quality assurance for electrical installations, and liaising with clients to provide updates on project progress. You will also collaborate with the site team to resolve design queries prior to installation.

Candidates must possess SSSTS/SMSTS/ECS Black Card certification and have experience working with M&E sub-contractors, ideally within commercial projects. A stable career history, relevant electrical qualifications, and proven experience as an electrical project engineer are essential. An understanding of data centre construction is advantageous.
