Maintenance Operative

Maintenance Operative - TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Operative to work for a rapidly expanding retail maintenance team.

Location: Baguley

Temp to perm position

The starting rate for the Maintenance Operative is £12.71/ph (£26,437.84 per annum)

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• 6am to 3pm
• 1-in-4 weekend shift. Not on call.

As a Maintenance Operative your duties will be but not limited to

• General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas.
• This may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats hanging doors or fixing shelves. Patch plaster. rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
• PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
• Building inspections including roof walks and building checks.

There will be daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated, this may be reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails. Technology will be used in the form of a PDA Tablet and Company provided Smartphone.
