Role: Software Engineer

Location: Derby (2 days per week)

Salary: £35-£55,000

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join their innovative IT team, working in an environment that balances growth with strategic decision-making.

As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the customer journey, ensuring every interaction is smooth and efficient. Focusing on user experience and performance, you’ll be responsible for developing and optimising high-traffic, customer-facing applications which have to withstand spikes of up to half a million requests per second.

The core experience you’ll need for this role is with:

• Typescript | Javascript
• .NET | C#
• Agile development environments
• Version control (Git)

Bonus experience includes:

• Cloud based development
• React

The ideal candidate will logical problem solver, keen to learn new technologies and confident working independently or as part of a team.
