Management Accountant - Corporate Services Group

Salary: 45,000 to 55,000 (dependent on relevant experience)
Cedar are working with a highly successful accountancy practice in their search for a talented Management Accountant to join their dynamic Corporate Services Group. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-level management accounting services to a diverse and prestigious client base, including UK and multinational companies, high-net-worth individuals, and senior business professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare management accounts for a portfolio of UK and multinational clients.
- Advise on VAT and PAYE matters, including reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns.
- Provide financial support to startups, including implementing accounting and financial systems.
- Oversee UK financial reporting, including annual accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Lead project work, such as financial investigations and occasional client secondments.
- Review and report on financial information systems.
- Develop and mentor junior staff within the department.
- Manage multi-currency accounting and offer general business advice across a wide range of subjects.
Requirements:
- Working towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA OR CIMA)
- Proven management accounting experience, preferably beyond audit environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with high-profile clients.
- Ability to manage a diverse client portfolio and deliver accurate information under tight deadlines.
- Excellent IT skills, with experience in accounting software like Xero, Infor10, and Sage.
- Leadership abilities with experience in team management and development.
