Physiotherapist In Brief We are currently recruiting an experienced telehealth Physiotherapist to join our well-established virtual physiotherapy department. This part-time role is offered on a 7-month fixed-term contract as maternity leave cover. Contract type: 7mts FTC maternity cover Annual salary: £40,000 - £46,000 pa DOE, pro-rata for 0.6FTE Hours of work: Part-time, 24 hours per week or 0.6FTE, equal to 3 days to be agreed on between Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch). Work mode: remote / working from home About the Role and Responsibilities Role: Deliver excellent virtual assessments for patients with MSK conditions via video and/or telephone. Help our patients achieve, maintain, and recover to their aspired level of health and wellbeing, providing diagnosis, self-management techniques and if required, onward referral. Deliver excellent clinical care that is safe, effective, caring, and responsive to patients’ needs. Monitor and follow up complex cases and red flag cases, escalate where required to the clinical lead. Be compliant with all governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes. Be a team player with involvement at team meetings and our regular in-service training schedule. Communication: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to discuss complicated issues and the sharing of delicate information. To provide health promotion and disease prevention services to patients who are healthy or have acute and/or chronic conditions by guiding and counselling them to promote health, reduce risk factors and prevent disease and disability. Effectively alternate methods of communication to overcome various levels of understanding, accounting for different social or cultural background. Anticipate barriers to communication and actively work to overcome them. Information Management: Always Ensure compliance with Data Protection / Quality rules and regulations. Use the full array of available technology and appropriate software in planning, implementation, and monitoring of care. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the IT in line with new developments in this area as implemented by Teladoc. Act as a role model in the observance of equality and diversity good practice. About You and Our Selection Criteria Essential Recognised Physiotherapy Qualification. Experience to a band 6 or 7 in an MSK setting with at least 3 years MSK experience. Member of the Health and Care Professions Council AND the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Telehealth experience as a Physiotherapist - providing virtual 1-1 assessments and management of a variety of MSK condition. Strong level of IT literacy. Be up to date with own clinical practice and demonstrate an ability to maintain clinical competence.
