Pre-Sales Cloud Advisor

About the Role:
As a Pre-Sales Cloud Advisor, you will take ownership of the entire project lifecycle—from pre-sales discovery to final delivery. You’ll engage with clients, architect AWS-based solutions, and work closely with our engineering team to ensure best practices are implemented. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive projects from initial discovery and pre-sales through to final delivery.
- Architect AWS applications tailored to customer requirements, ensuring adherence to industry and AWS best practices.
- Engage with clients throughout the project, handling requirements gathering, quoting, and tracking progress.
- Design and prototype AWS cloud infrastructures and create comprehensive technical and security architecture documentation.
- Collaborate with Engineering during project builds, ensuring DevOps best practices are followed.
- Act as an escalation point for Cloud Engineers during builds, providing technical leadership.
- Attend industry and cloud events and meet with clients to strengthen relationships.
- Mentor junior Account Management staff, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends and AWS advancements.
Required Technical Expertise:
- 3+ years of AWS Solutions Architecture experience.
- At least 1 AWS Associate-level certification.
- Hands-on experience in a DevOps environment (Linux, Git, CI/CD Pipelines).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
- Experience with serverless applications (event-driven, microservices, etc.).
- Strong networking knowledge, including IP ranges, subnetting, routing, and VPNs.
- Exceptional documentation skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Expertise:
- AWS Professional or Specialty-level certifications.
- Knowledge with containers or Kubernetes.
- Previous experience in cloud migrations.
