A global leader in photonic engineering is seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join their offices in Ashford, Kent. This company provides optical systems, assemblies and components for a variety of applications across aerospace, defence, life science and telecommunications. As they are expanding their R&D team, they are now looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to assist with the development of exciting new projects. The successful Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for development of electronic solutions for a range of electro-optical products. You will be involved in analogue and digital electronic design and PCB design from concept to prototype. This Electronics Design Engineer role comes with hybrid working (2-3 times a week on site).

Skills required for this Electronics Design Engineer in Ashford, Kent:

  • Proven experience in analogue and digital circuit design
  • Knowledge in digital and analogue signal processing
  • Experience in PCB design, schematic capture and layout
  • Basic Embedded Software experience using C and/or C++ would be beneficial but not essential.
