Senior Homologation Engineer

Expleo are currently recruiting for a Senior Homologation Engineer on behalf of a world leading automotive manufacturer based in Essex. This role involves close collaboration with the special vehicle development team and end users to create tailored proposals that meet specific use case requirements, ensuring industry-leading up time and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Skills Required:

• Development and Management: Oversee the creation, implementation, and management of quality processes for vehicle operations, including body, paint, and electrical systems.
• Homologation and Type Approval: Handle the homologation and type approval processes for vehicles with additional content.
• Facility Installations: Ensure facility installations meet the necessary requirements to deliver vehicle quality standards across body, paint, and electrical systems.
• Quality Improvement Road-maps: Develop and implement road-maps for quality improvements, while coaching the team through these changes.
• Leadership in Quality: Experience in leading prototype and manufacturing quality initiatives.
• Vehicle Homologation: Proficient in vehicle homologation and type approval processes.
• ISO 9001 Management: Skilled in managing ISO 9001 standards within an automotive business.
• Executive Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills for engaging with senior executives.
