We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher with a focus on food specialism to join our dynamic team in January 2025. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Design and Technology, with an emphasis on food preparation and nutrition.
- Engage and motivate students to achieve strong results in the GCSE DT program, and ideally, A Level courses.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners.
- Actively participate in the wider curriculum through enrichment activities and the Going Beyond program.
- Foster a positive learning environment where every student feels valued and empowered.
Candidate Requirements:
- Passion for Design and Technology, with the ability to inspire and engage pupils.
- Strong classroom management skills and a proven track record of achieving excellent results.
- Experience in curriculum planning and development.
- Flexibility and commitment to enhance students learning experiences beyond the classroom.

Interview Process:
The selection procedure will rigorously assess candidates' suitability for working with children and young people. The process includes:
- A lesson observation with the Head of Department and a Senior Leader.
- An informal Q&A session with a panel of students.
- An interview with Senior Leaders.
This position is available on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS), depending on experience.
