Technical Shift Supervisor - Based in Irlam - 38,000 Plus benefits + Overtime

(The shift pattern for this role is 4 days on and 4 days off, 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am)

My Client one of Europes leading industrial packaging company are looking for a Technical Shift Supervisor to join their expanding growing team.

The Role

As Technical Shift Supervisor you will managing a team of 4 people.

Key Responsibilites:

• Ensure all Safety rules and procedures are adhered to
• Working in line with the production schedule, ensuring that product is produced to the correct specification and in line with customer requirements.
• Assist the Quality Controller in their activities as directed by the Production Manager
• Complete basic quality control checks.
• Complete production plan by establishing priorities, monitoring progress, resolving problems and completing paperwork in full.
• Provide assistance to other operators where necessary
• Lead Team meeting at the start of each shift to discuss previous and next 24 hours production, labour distribution, and break cover and any other business.
• Cleaning of filters and granulators
• Detect quality concerns on products as they are produced, quarantine and report the concern immediately to the Production Manager or Quality Controller
• Recommend machine or process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Leave the work area clean, tidy and prepared for the shift and carry out a handover
• Carrying out Colour Changes
• Follow operating, health and safety and quality procedures and instructions.
• Ensure that the standards required to fulfil the legal, BRCGS and ISO requirements are met.

As Technical Shift Supervisor you will be required to have experience of the below:

• Atleast 2 Years working with Blow Moulding Machines
• Supervising/Assististing engineers
• Fault Diagnosis and repair of items
• Running and Fixing machines in previous positions
