Site Engineer (Structures)

Carmichael are recruiting for skilled Site/Settig Out Engineers on a major infrastructure project.

Civil Site Engineers experienced in the construction/refurbishment or bridges and related structures, or similar experience for tier one or Principal Contractors on major rail/civils projects, are sought after.

Regular duties will include

• Setting out of the works
• Producing and implementing method statements and work package plans
• Interpreting and implementing of the design
• Task briefs and work package plans
• Quality control in accordance to specifications
• Compiling as-builts
• Health and Safety compliance

Requirements:

• HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
• Solid experience gained working for a tier one or principal contractor on major rail/civil projects
• Competent in setting out and producing as-builts.
• Proven experience in a similar post
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, TW, AP are all advantageous.
