Job Opportunity: Shift Fitter

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious individual to join our Bootle garage as a Shift Fitter. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will maintain our fleet of PCV vehicles.

Salary: £19 - £25 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Service and repair vehicles to Arriva and DVSA standards
• Improve vehicle standards continuously
• Prepare vehicles for MOT
• Diagnose faults and ensure maintenance meets Arriva's high standards
• Work shifts

Requirements:

• Recognised qualifications in PSV/HGV maintenance (e.g., Level 3 NVQ)
• Ability to work safely and independently
• Electrical knowledge is a plus
• PCV licence is a plus
• Experience with vehicle inspections (training provided); IRTEC accreditation is advantageous
