Quality CMM Inspector

Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing a world leading performance manufacturer in the heart of Derbyshire who are looking for a Quality CMM Inspector to join their talented team.

They are offering up to c£35,000 per annum D.O.E. alongside a generous benefits package including a pension scheme, free onsite parking, the opportunity to work overtime, comprehensive training, and sick pay.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Carry out visual and dimensional inspection on machines using tools including gauges, verniers, micrometres and calipers
• Source components based on stringent specifications
• Draw using a wide range of tools
• Run approved CMM programs
• Ensure processes are completed in line with regulations and approved standards
• Comply with ISO9001:2015 QMS requirements
• Maintain inspection documents and ensure they are logged on the QMS correctly

Skills & Requirements

• Apprentice trained in relevant engineering discipline
• Demonstrable quality inspection experience in a precision engineering environment
• Experience in Automotive, Motorsport or Aerospace sector preferred
• Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience in running CMM programs highly advantageous
• Experience working with Mitutoyo CMM desirable but not essential
• Possess excellent attention to detail
• Be self-motivated and confident with solid communication skills, both verbally and written
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel
