1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant in a Primary School in Alvaston Moor. Starting ASAP!

Part Time, Thursdays & Fridays only.
Pupil is in KS2 with ADHD.

Responsibilities:

Supporting a child 1:1 with SEN.

Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate.

Deliver catch-up sessions.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role is essential.
• Experience of working with children is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy and the ability to connect with students at Primary School age.
• Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and learning needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
