Press Brake Machine Operative

Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for a Press Brake Operator / Pressbrake Machine Operative to work in their busy factory. This is a permanent role (after the usual 3 months probation).

PLEASE READ: ESSENTIAL APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years experience as a Press Brake Operative, working with metal in a manufacturing / production / factory / engineering environment.
• If you are a skilled Machinist or CNC Machine Setter Operator, we will also consider you.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.

Salary:

• £13.52 per hour (£12.67 + £0.85 per hour shift allowance when on early/late shifts) + Overtime at x1.5.

Shift pattern (Early & Late, rotating weekly):

• 5.45am - 2.15pm Monday Thursday, 5.45am - 1.15pm Friday
• 2.00pm - 10.30pm Monday Thursday, 1.00pm - 8.30pm Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To operate a press brake machine, to manufacture the company's metal products.
• To following engineering drawings.
• To follow quality specifications of build programme.
• To verify product and build dimensional conformance to engineering drawings.
• Any other duties as reasonable requested by management.

This job would suit someone from a manufacturing or production environment where a Press Brake machine (or CNC / Manual machine) has been used.
