Hybrid working: 2 days in the Croydon office 3 days at home once fully trianed after 4 week induction.

Description

Job Purpose:

strategically and in response to day-to-day demands of the
recruitment service, undertaking direct search for candidates where appropriate.

enables the Council to attract and retain the competent and
experienced individuals that the Council, and Departments,
need to deliver modern public services.

approach to HR service delivery across all council departments
through the agreed service standards

Responsible for: Responsible for management oversight of the recruitment team x 5 recruitment Advisors.The procurement and performance management of the Council's multi million contract (circa 20-30 million per annum) for a Managed Service Provider for Temporary Agency workers ensuring the Council has a resilient workforce that represents value for money.

Accountabilities:

Essential knowledge:
CIPD or equivalent professional qualification or relevant demonstrable experience.
Good knowledge of relevant legislation and current trends within
Recruitment
Intellectual capacity to demonstrate or acquire an understanding of
recruitment service delivery in order to respond effectively to the
agenda of all council departments
Knowledge of fundamental HR and Recruitment processes
incorporating understanding of safeguarding
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems
