Key Requirements

1. The candidate should bring substantial experience in the agency setting.
2. A deep understanding of the UK, pan-European, and global healthcare and pharma media landscape.
3. Actively advising account teams and playing an active role in media outreach and coverage generation.
4. Playing a proactive role in new business development and organic growth of agency clients, from initial approach to strategic media plans and proposals.
5. Training and Leadership: Leading the training of the team and clients on media insights, trends, successful pitching, and assisting with external thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engaging industry-specific healthcare, pharma, consumer, and financial journalists globally.
2. Building creative and innovative media strategies aligned with client objectives.
3. Ensuring best practices and agency systems/processes are followed for high-quality results.
4. Managing both earned editorial and paid media.
5. Working with account teams to develop strategic integrated healthcare media campaigns.
6. Liaising with counterparts globally to learn from experiences and assess new opportunities.
