Solution Architect

Responsibilities:

  1. Creating functional solution architecture
  2. Documenting product requirements and collaborating with the engineering and product team to identify and design the technical solution.
  3. Walking through solutions developed with various stakeholders and driving closures.
  4. Understanding business requirements and developing solutions and low-level technical designs accordingly.
  5. Troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring resolution.
  6. Partnering effectively with a global team.
  7. Working closely with product owners to ensure technical designs meet the business requirements.
  8. Problem-solving and the ability to think outside the box.
  9. Displaying a strong spirit of innovation as an independent self-starter with the ability to come up with solutions to complex problems.
  10. Possessing a passion for software quality, delivering high-scale services and achieving engineering excellence.
  11. Understanding issues related to large-scale distributed computing and the ability to take a broad view of the system as a whole.

Requirements:

  1. Strong focus on architecture and design of Payment/eCommerce products.
  2. Strong experience in architecting products on Java and public cloud setups like GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  3. Solid hands-on experience in object-oriented analysis and design patterns, Spring Boot, microservices, security, and Docker.
  4. Knowledge of compliance/financial governance on engagements including PCI certification and other quality assurances/audits.
  5. Proficiency in business modeling and business requirements definition disciplines through object-oriented architecture, Unified Modeling Language (UML), use cases, user stories, etc.
  6. Excellent knowledge of POS payment terminals, Card Present & Card Not Present transactions.
  7. Expertise in payment features, payment gateways, tokenization, and other payment channels & financial transactions.
  8. Payments domain expert with excellent knowledge of payment transactions and the authorization/acquiring process.
  9. Experience in delivering scalable and high-performance services and applications with excellent quality.
  10. Ability to resolve product and project-related issues at higher levels.
  11. Facilitate and monitor the review of functional/design specifications.
  12. The ability to work independently and in small teams, partnering effectively across groups.
